Record weekend for online tournaments

This weekend marked a record-breaking turnout for many online poker sites holding large Sunday Guaranteed Prize Pool tournaments.

PokerStars drew almost 2,800 entrants for a total prize pool of nearly 1.4 million. Full Tilt convinced 2,115 players to pony up for their 300k guaranteed tournament, resulting in a prize pool of $423,000. Party Poker continued to rebound from their loss of US players, drawing 1300+ entrants to their $250,000 guaranteed tournament.

Mansion and BoDog Poker also had strong numbers for their sunday tournament, with BoDog hitting 1,909 entrants and Mansion attracting 684.
