NPL announces 2007 Global Circuit Tour

Aimed primarily at the younger generation of poker players, the National Poker League annouced their 2007 Global Circuit Tour today.  It begins on May 13th at the Cercle Gaillon Casino in Paris.

The NPL has partnered with international and online casinos to establish several qualifying tournaments. NPL’s series will end with four televised World Cups: The Paris Open, The UK Open, The Asia Open, and The Vegas Open.

Over the past two years, the NPL has seen major membership growth and increased exposure. NPL VP of Poker Operations, Edna Dalton explains that “we feel poker is no longer a game, but an established sport”.
