Iowa Poker Tournament Loses Last Native
The $5,000 buy-in tournament at the World Series of Poker circuit events at Horseshoe Council Bluffs Casino in Iowa, has lost all its native Iowans.
Dave Dick of Waterloo was the last of ten Iowans to leave the tournament, losing all of his chips just before the field was narrowed to 18 players.
Jeff Banghart of Bennington, Nebraska is the current chip leader with more than $200,000. The 142 player tournament ends today.
