Huge Prize Pots for Weekend Tournaments

Three major online poker tournaments finished over the weekend, with prize amounts breaking records.  Six figure winnings were common, even for second or third place.

 

Rodel Tuazon, from Des Moines Iowa, won the MansionPoker.net Poker Dome title, taking home more than one million dollars.  

 

The World Poker Tour’s Bay 101 Shooting Star event ended on Sunday with five-time bracelet winner Ted Forrest claiming $1.1 million.  Expecting mother J.J. Liu took second place, winning $600,000.  J.J. became the highest finishing woman ever in a WPT event.  

 

Finally, Peter Jepson walked away a champion from the European Poker Tour Polish Open in Warsaw, taking with him 325 663 Euro.
