WPT World Poker Challenge Kicks Off in Reno

Many of the top professional players and hundreds of amateurs will head to Reno, Nevada this weekend for the WPT World Poker Challenge.  This $5,000 buy-in tournament is being held at the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino.  The tournament winner will be awarded a $25,000 seat to the final event next month, in addition to a cash prize of over $1 million.

 

This event is the second to last, before the WPT Championship starts on April 21st in Las Vegas at the Bellagio.

 

WPT Qualifiers are held three times each week in the Bodog Poker Room, with satellites everyday starting at $1.50.
