WPT World Poker Challenge Update

March 27th, 2007

Mark Seif is currently in the lead after the second day of the World Poker Tour’s World Poker Challenge, with $535,000 in chips.  Second place belongs to Juan Carlos Alvarado with $456,500 and David Pham holds third place with $384,500.  If Seif manages to keep his lead and wins the tournament, it will be his first WPT title.

 

This afternoon, the 27 players that remain will play until the field is narrowed to six.  The tournament started with 475 players.  All of the remaining players will go home with at least $11,391.  The champion will receive $683,473 and second place will get $366,798.
