Yahoo Launches Poker Site

In an unprecedented move, Yahoo has launched a real money poker site at www.yahoo.co.uk/poker.  Never before has an internet giant like Yahoo entered the poker realm. 

 

Yahoo poker is a partnership between St. Minver Ltd. and Boss Media AB.  Both based in Europe, St. Minver deals primarily with “white-label” gaming services, while Boss Media AB develops complete gaming software systems.   

 

Considering Yahoo boasts millions of customers and a history of successful online marketing, it seems certain that Yahoo’s site will change the market of internet poker and perhaps pave the way for other major online companies to introduce poker sites, as well.
