Everest Hosting European Cup
In light of its successful first annual European Cup in 2006, Everest Poker, one of the most popular poker rooms in Europe, is hosting the second annual European Cup. The Everest Poker European Cup is a series of live and online qualfication tournaments. Germany, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Austria, and Portugal are the host countries for live events.
100 players participated the 2006 Cup and this year the number of players is expected to double, as is the prize pool. Jonathan May, Everest Poker property manager said, “The success of last year’s event blew us away. We want to make sure the 2007 event is bigger and better in every way possible and the best way to do that is by doubling the poker tournament size and prize money offered.”
The EPEC starts May 1st and runs through August, ending in a live finale.
