PokerStars approaching milestone 10 billionth hand dealt

May 13th, 2007

PokerStars.com, the largest online poker room, is approaching a record-setting event: the dealing of their 10 billionth hand of virtual poker.

To celebrate (and promote) this milestone, PokerStars is offering a week of money-added tournaments and special promotions in cash games.

In an interesting reminder of how greatly the online poker landscape has shifted over the last year, this event comes less than a year after PokerStars celebrated the dealing of their 5 billionth hand - an excellent illustration of how much of an impact UIEGA has had in dictating the amount and flow of online poker traffic.
