With a total field of just under 3,000 players, event #3 of the 2007 World Series of Poker will enter the record books as the largest non-main event field in the history of the WSOP.
The tournament, which will pay 307 spots and hand out over 725k to first, is a $1,5000 buy in No Limit Hold em event. The original registration numbers announced by Harrah’s were inaccurate, apparently due to a miscounting of pre-registrations.
