Norwegian poker room Berserk joins the MicroGaming Network
The MicroGaming Network, known more popularly as the Prima network in some online poker circles, added another room to its ever-expanding roster yesterday.
The latest addition: Norwegian-facing poker room Berserk Poker.com. Berserk will enter one of the larger poker networks and expects that MircoGaming’s current traffic mass will help it to extend Berserk’s reach domestically and internationally.
Berserk Poker managing director Stein Hansen explained the logic behind joining MicroGaming: “As poker continues to grow in popularity throughout Norway, we feel the time is right to make the move to the next level. By moving to the Microgaming Poker Network, we believe we can do this … Our aim is to quickly become the major player in the Nordic region and we feel that this announcement will take us ten steps closer to that goal.â€
