Gus Hansen opens up an online poker school
Well-known poker pro Gus Hansen, who was once affiliated with PokerChamps.com and has since moved on to the Full Tilt Poker roster, has opened an online poker school at www.theplayr.com.
The school, which currently offers only a Danish version, provides videos, articles, and a variety of promos with chances to meet and play with the tournament star. Plans for an English version of the site are apparently in the works.
Hansen, who plays what was once regarded as a very controversial style, is aware that not everyone will be eager to learn from him. As he told the Danish newspaper Ekstrabladet, “Actually, I would say, the more you disagree, the better. There are many different ways to approach the game, and the fact that I have launched this site doesn’t mean that I’m right in everything I say.”
