CardPlayer nabs another exclusive tournament content contract

September 11th, 2007

Not that PokerWire is around anymore, but now there’s one more tournament they wouldn’t be able to report on - the Caesar’s Palace Classic.

The new series, which kicks off its inaugural run this October, will be reported on exclusively by CardPlayer, according to announcement posted by CP today. Here are the requisite quotes with mutual fawning typically issued after such agreements are announced:

“Caesars Palace is bringing an incredible tournament to Vegas and we are pleased to be the exclusive media partner for the event,” stated Jeff Shulman, Card Player Media COO. “As the most trusted name in tournament reporting, Card Player Media will provide top-notch tournament reporting from this event.”

“We are excited to debut the highly anticipated Caesars Palace Classic and are proud to have Card Player as our media partner,” said Jim Pedulla, Caesars Palace poker room manager. “It is our goal to make this the classiest tournament in town, year after year, and with Card Player’s continued support, this event will surely be a success.”
