Jordan Morgan captures the main event title at the Tunica WSOP Circuit Event

September 14th, 2007

23-year old poker pro Jordan Morgan emerged as the winner of the main event down at the WSOP circuit event which just wrapped up in Tunica, MS.

Morgan took down the tournament with a 92o - proof that it’s not the cards you hold so much as the flop you hit that matters. His top pair on the flop managed to hold up against Terry Hawkins, who called an all in with J 10 for two overs and an open ended straight draw.

When the turn and river blanked, Morgan won the pot and a first place cash worth $213,288.
