The 2007 PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker is winding down, but there’s still plenty of exciting events approaching. That said, one of the more action-packed events is now behind us, as Event #17 - $320 6 max NLHE - is in the books.

pes4fans, from Germany, bested a field of nearly 2900 players over nearly 18 hours of intense action to emerge as the champion of the event. While he entered the final table as one of the shortest stacks, pes4fans eventually overcame that disadvantage and ending up defeating PeachyMer in a heads up match for the title.
