Citing the current strength of the Euro, BOSS Media Network, which provides CelebPoker.com with its poker software, has switched its currency away from US dollars today.

CelebPoker Poker Room Manager Linda Donovan said in a press release:

“Our first priority is to provide the best service possible to our valued online poker playing community, and as the majority of them are based in Europe, this move will be a really positive one. As most of our players currently use the Euro everyday, the currency change is definitely a necessary move for CelebPoker. I am confident all of our players from around the world will also relish opportunity to play for bigger cash prizes and see this as a really positive move.”

The company used the exchange rates determined by the European Central Bank.

Those with e-wallets in US currency are advised to request those based in Euros as well.
