The World Series of Poker 2008 will be held May 30 - July 17, making it two days longer than this year’s.

Players will be given the chance to pre-register at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino beginning May 26, as promoters have decided that the deadlocked registration lines are not an integral part of the event.

Schedules will be available on the World Series of Poker website.

The final table from the 2007 main event will be broadcast tonight at 6pm Pacific Time on ESPN.
