Players who logged on to Full Tilt this week probably noticed a new entry at the top of the No Limit Lobby - a 500/1000 heads up cash table with the title Ivey Deathmatch.

Phil has a permanent seat reserved at the table, and is apparently willing to take on all comers. So far there haven’t been many takers, with one notable exception - high stakes cash player LarsLuzak sat down against Ivey late this afternoon. As of the writing of this article, Luzak was up just over a buy in on Ivey.

Ivey is also hosting a 500/1000 blind PLO table, titled Ivey Thunderdome.

The tables may be part of an effort by Full Tilt to refocus attention on their higher stakes play, which has largely dried up (at least on the holdem side of the lobby) after several active months of big bet action.
