Bodog Poker released a significant upgrade to its software today that not only includes a wide array of cosmetic changes, but also sets the stage for future upgrades in the backend.
Upon downloading and logging in, users will quickly note some features of the redesign, such as the new table layout, the altered action buttons and indicators, and several graphical updates. According to a post on Bodog founder Calvin Ayre’s blog, these changes are just the beginning:
These cosmetic upgrades were an important next step, however, the redesign was necessary for us to be able to build out the Bodog Poker feature set. The graphics are now vector based, which allows for easier future design of more dynamic features, like table resizing, for instance. While we are proud to release this new look, we are also very excited for upcoming releases in this evolution, which will include lobby redesign, resizing, and multiple table tiling.
Bodog’s update comes on the heels of a major update over at Ultimate Bet that introduced resizeable tables, and an update at Full Tilt which introduced some new filtering options and tournament types.
