The “minor leagues of poker” events of the Heartland Poker Tour have been worked out for next year. Beginning in mid-February and continuing through the HPT Championship in Gary, Indiana at the end of 2008, the schedule is as follows:
* Feb. 18-25: Grand Casino Mille Lacs, Onamia, Minnesota; $1,650
* March 2-9: Meskwaki Bingo Casino, Tama, Iowa; $1,650
* April 1-13: Colden Gates Casino, Blackhawk, Colorado; no buy-in, qualifiers $340
* April 19-28: Majestic Star Casino, Gary, Indiana; $2,200
* May 6-11: Island Resort and Casino, Escanaba, Michigan; $1,650
* June 25-30: Turning Stone Casino, Verona, New York; $1,650
* July 19-28: Majestic Star Casino, Gary, Indiana; $2,200
* Aug. 17-24: Soaring Eagle Casino, Mt. Pleasant, Michigan; $1,650
* Sept. 15-22: Grand Casino Mille Lacs, Onamia, Minnesota; $1,650
* Sept. 22-Oct. 5: Golden Gates Casino, Blackhawk, Colorado; no buy-in, qualifiers $340
* Oct. 15-20: Turning Stone Casino, Verona, New York; $2,200
* Nov. 2-9: Meskwaki Bingo Casino, Tama, Iowa; $1,650
* Nov. 9-16: Running Aces Card Room, Columbus, Minnesota; $2,700 (pending approval by the Minnesota Racing Commission)
