Online poker training site Cardrunners.com announced a new promotion this week, and while we’d usually pass on these items, this one’s unique enough that it deserves a mention. Two applicants from the Cardrunners community will be chosen for a private mentoring arrangement with high-stakes online cash pro Taylor ‘Green Plastic’ Caby.

You might wonder “what you get” out of being my protege? Well, first, I won’t ever charge you for anything I help you with (note to self: You should have traded a piece with Ryan Daut at the PCA). You will be able to talk about poker with me whenever you want. We’ll do sessions a few times per month where I will watch and critique your play. I’ll let you sweat me playing in some of the biggest games on the internet. I’ll go over hand histories, I’ll talk theory, I’ll talk about anything you want really. I’ll basically just mentor you to the best of my abilities, and we’ll hopefully become friends in the process.
I don’t know what the estimated value of this package would be, but if I were to do private lessons, I would charge somewhere in the $750-$1000/hr range. You can do the math and realize that this is a worthwhile package!
