The PokerStars.net Asian Pacific Poker Tour is wrapping up its inaugural season with what looks to be a fairly massive event this December in Sydney, Australia. In a move that seems designed to ensure that the first season of the tour ends with a bang, PokerStars announced today that the Sydney stop will guarantee a one million dollar prize to the main event winner.

A good chunk of the field will likely be made up by satellite winners from PokerStars. The site is shooting to send over 200 players to the Sydney event via online qualifiers.
