The 2008 Main Event of the Aussie Millions poker tournament series has concluded, and it’s Alexander Kostritsyn who came out on top of a nearly 800 player field to capture the title and 1.65 million in cash.

Kostritsyn bested long-time pro Eric Seidel in a heads up match for the championship. Other payouts at the final table:

1.) Alexander Kostritsyn - $1,650,000
2.) Erik Seidel - $1,000,000
3.) Michael Chrisanthopoulos - $700,000
4.) Peter Ling - $500,000
5.) Nino Marotta - $400,000
6.) Antonio Casale - $300,000
