Fox News Las Vegas is reporting that a massive fire broke out earlier today on top of the Monte Carlo, forcing evacuation of the hotel and the lockdown of Las Vegas Blvd from Tropicana to Harmon.

The cause of the fire is as yet unknown. Fox News is reporting that the blaze is largely contained and that a press conference regarding the situation is scheduled to take place later today.

No deaths have been reported so far. From the Fox News report:

Guests were spotted looking out of hotel windows, and guests were gambling up until a recent evacuation
