The Interactive Media Entertainment and Gaming Association, better known as the iMEGA portion of iMEGA vs the UIGEA, appears to be having at least technical problems, if it hasn’t vanished completely.
Last seen here at Part Time Poker news in mid-November, the waxing and waning group that tried to halt the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act by requesting a restraining order in advance of the Act’s enactment, has either not paid domain fees to godaddy.com or has given up and cut its losses as it can. We’re leaning toward something along the lines of the former.
There are no updates on the New Jersey case of iMEGA v. Attorney General of the United States et al, and as the wheels of justice tend not to depend upon website status, Judge Cooper’s decision, when released, will be reported.
