The Global Poker Strategic Thinking Society (GPSTS) is co-organizing a rally to be held on Tuesday, March 18th across from the MA statehouse.

GPSTS is an organization headed up by Harvard professor Charles Nesson that seeks to promote the use of poker as an educational tool.

Excerpt from the GPSTS announcement of the rally:

The GPSTS is co-sponsoring a rally at the State House on Tuesday, March 18 to protest the governor’s casino bill. (H. 4307, full text) A provision tucked into the bill would make any Massachusetts resident who plays online poker, or any form of online wager game, a criminal — even if real money is not at stake. Players could be punished by a fine of up to $25,000, or two years of prison. And no one can seem to tell inquiring minds how the provision wound up in the bill. Help us protect the citizens of Massachusetts from this by showing your support at our rally.

Game type: 25/50 Full Ring Cash, PokerStars
Your image: Active, possibly a little frustrated
Opponent's image: Very aggressive preflop
Your hand: Ad Ah

The setup: You've had an uneven session so far and it's been a bit since you won a hand. This hand there's a poster in the hijack preflop. The table folds to him and he checks. You raise $200. The button folds and the SB three bets to $825. The BB and hijack fold, and you flat.

You have a good amount of history with the raiser. He is a very active three bettor and seems to have your number in recent sessions. He is very aggressive against your preflop raises, especially if there's a squeeze opportunity. He's also a pretty steady continuation bettor.

You flop about as dry as can be:

The SB leads for $985 into $1750. What's your play?
