Former PokerStars manager Lee Jones is joining CardRunners.com as the poker training site’s CEO.

Jones had been the “executive host” for the European Poker Tour before taking the new gig. The move now aligns him with Full Tilt Poker, since CardRunners recently inked a deal with that site.

According to Bluff Magazine:

“Lee will be intimately involved every single day with ensuring that CardRunners videos remain innovative and creative as well as continuing to meet the rising standards of quality seen industry-wide,” said Ezra Galston, Director of Marketing. “Lee is bringing 5 years of experience in the poker industry as well as 25 years of experience in the computer business world to our management team. This isn”t a cushy consultant gig — Lee will be intimately involved with overseeing the member experience every single day.”

Whole thing here.

Jones had worked with PokerStars from 2003 through 2007. Jones said that he probably won’t be making videos for CardRunners and will be dealing mostly with the site’s day-to-day operation.
