Poker professional Annie Duke has said she plans to run in San Diego’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon on June 1 in support of her charity, Ante Up For Africa.

Ante Up for Africa will hold its second charity tournament at this year’s World Series of Poker to raise awareness and money for those affected by the crisis in and around the Darfur region of Sudan.

According to pokerpages.com:

This year, Duke hopes to beat last year’s fundraising efforts and is inviting poker players to get involved in a number of ways, listed here:
1) Poker players can secure their spot in the marathon and race with Annie on June 1st by clicking here to register — please indicate that you’d like AUFA on your bib.
2) Poker fans that play at UltimateBet can also donate the UltimatePoints they’ve accumulated to Ante Up For Africa through the online poker site’s UltimatePoints Store.
