Two first-time bracelet winners prevailed at the final tables of Day 16 of the World Series of Poker.

After finishing 13th in the $1,500 Pot-Limit Hold’em event, Scott Seiver won event No. 21, the $5,000 No-Limit Hold’em event. He came into the final table with a huge chip lead and rode it out for the victory and the first prize of $755,856. Humberto Brenes and Michael Mizrachi both just missed final tabling the event.

In Event #22, $5,000 H.O.R.S.E., Germany’s Jens Voertmann outlasted a talented final table for the first prize of $299,253. Jennifer Harman (8th), Steve Zolotow (6th), Hoyt Corkins (4th) and Marcel Luske (3rd) were all at the final table.

Two more bracelets are on tap for today, with Allen Cunningham at the final table of Event #24, the $2,500 Pot-Limit Omaha/Hold’em event. Event #25, the $10,000 Heads-Up No-Limit Hold’em World Championship plays down to the final four today.
