Pair of pros take home bracelets on Day 17 of WSOP

In a year that might be remembered for pros taking back the World Series of Poker, two more pros earned bracelets on Sunday — Kenny Tran and Barry Greenstein.
Tran won his first bracelet by taking down Event No. 25, the $10,000 Heads Up No-Limit Hold’em World Championship. Among others he beat out Erk Lindgren, who won his first bracelet here this year. In the final, he beat 21-year-old online pro Alec “Traheho” Torelli in a best of three series for the first prize of $539,056. Vanessa Selbst made the final four of the event in search of her second bracelet of this WSOP but couldn’t advance to the final.
Barry Greenstein won his third WSOP bracelet in Event No. 16, The $1,500 Seven Card Razz event, taking home the first prize and $157,619 for his win. He outlasted a final table that included PartTimePoker member Brandon Leeds, who finished fifth for more than $33,000.
Two more final tables are scheduled for today.
In Event No. 28, the $5,000 Pot-Limit Omaha w/Re-Buys event, the final table is filled with some of the top pros in the world. Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond is the chip leader. But also at the table are David Benyamine, John Juanda, Johnny Chan, Daniel Negreanu and Phil Hellmuth.
Event No. 27, the $1,5000 No-Limit Hold’em event, played down to the final two tables on Sunday and will crown a champion today. PartTimePoker member Kenneth “Drama Llama” Terrell is second in chips.
