Two more events came to an end as the World Series of Poker saw the close of its 30th event of 2008.

In Event No. 29, a $3,000 No-Limit Hold’em event. A marathon six-hour heads-up session between John “Razor” Phan and Johnny Neckar ended with Phan winning the first prize of $434,789 and the bracelet. David Singer reached the final table and was looking for his second bracelet of 2008, but finished fifth.

In Event No. 30, the $10,000 World Championship of Limit Hold’em, Rob Hollink became the first Dutch player to win a bracelet and won the top prize of $496,931. J.C. Tran and Andy Bloch both made their second final tables of this WSOP, taking fifth and seventh respectively.

Only one final table is scheduled for today, Event No. 31, the $2,500 No-Limit Hold’em/Six Handed event. Dario Minieri is currently the chip leader. PartTimePoker member Michael Skomac took 14th place for more than $19,000.

In the second day of Event No. 32, a $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em event, Phil Hellmuth earned his record 65th WSOP cash and is still alive.
