The year of the pro rolls on at the World Series of Poker.

Layne Flack won his sixth World Series of Poker bracelet on Friday, taking down Event No. 34, $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha w/rebuys for the first prize of $577,725. He outlasted Ted Forrest, who was also attempting to win his sixth bracelet (fifth) and Kyle Koeckner (sixth) who was at his second final table of this WSOP and Jacobo Fernandez (third), who was at his third this year.

The bracelet was Flack’s first since 2003. Men “The Master” Nguyen, T.J. Cloutier and Jay Heimowitz also have six bracelets. The cash was the biggest of Flack’s career.

Also on Friday, Michael Rocco won his first bracelet in Event No. 35, $1,500 Seven Card Stud for a first prize of $135,753. He beat Al Barbieri in a two-hour heads-up match.

Two bracelets will be awarded today, with Mike Matusow and David Benyamine among those in the final 18 of Event No. 37, the $10,000 World Championship of Omaha Hi-Low Split-8 or Better.
