Two bracelets were given out on Saturday at the World Series of Poker, while the star-studded HORSE event reached its final table.

Joe Commisso, playing in his first WSOP this year, won Event No. 46, $5,000 No Limit Hold’em Six Handed. He took the first prize of $911,855, which is the biggest single cash so far this year at the WSOP. He outlasted Rich Lyndaker in the longest final table heads-up battle of this WSOP.

Davidi Kitai, already a winner once as this year’s WSOP, finished sixth. During the event, on Friday, Nikolay Evdakov finished 38th and earned a tie for the most cashes in one WSOP. He tied Phil Hellmuth, Humberto Brenes, Michael Binger, Richard Tatalovich and Chad Brown for the record of eight cashes in a single WSOP.

In Event No. 47, $1,500 Seven Card Stud Eight-or-better, Ryan Hughes made World Series of Poker history, becoming the only player to ever win two WSOP bracelets in that particular game. He won the top prize of $182,997. Pro and author David Sklansky finished eighth.

Also on Saturday, Event No. 45, the $50,000 World Championship of H.O.R.S.E., reached the final table with Erick Lindgren, who goes after his second bracelet of ‘08, and Scotty Nguyen holding the biggest stacks. Here are the final eight.
