Final two events before main event wrap up at WSOP

The World Series of Poker has nearly reached the main event as two more events came to a close on Wednesday.
In Event No. 52, the last $1,500 NLHE tournament, David Daneshgar won his first bracelet and the top prize of $625,443 — his eight cash in the WSOP.
In Event No. 53, the $1,500 Limit Hold’em Shootout $1,500 Matt Graham defeated Jean-Robert Bellande heads up for the first prize of $278,180.
The main event begins today, with four “first days” beginning today at noon, Pacific time. Play will continue on each day until level 5 (200-400 blinds and 50 ante) is completed.
Play will continue until July 14, when the final table will be set. The final table will then be delayed until Nov. 9, and heads-up play will begin on Nov. 10. The final table will be broadcast on ESPN in a three-hour broadcast at 9 p.m. Eastern on Nov. 11.
