Take it for what it’s worth, but Gambling911 is reporting that Absolute Poker has threatened them with legal action. The threat allegedly stems from an article G911 published this week asserting that the father of Absolute co-founder Scott Tom is currently under sealed indictment in the US.

Excerpt from the G911 article:

Speaking on behalf of Absolute Poker, Joann Priam demanded an article be removed from the Gambling911.com website:

“Our legal counsel is requesting that this be pulled by 6:00 PM EST today or they feel it necessary to issue you a formal letter. This type of situation certainly doesn’t lend itself to a mutually beneficial and rewarding business partnership moving forward,” she crowed.

G911 cited anonymous sources in the original story concerning the sealed indictment. Absolute also allegedly disputed the facts of a subsequent story published by G911 regarding AJ Green.
