To say its been just a bit crazy of a week over the high-limit tables at Full Tilt Poker would be a minor understatement.

I mean first off, three of the biggest pots in history were played on the site just a few days ago, all of them ranging from about $475k to the largest hitting at exactly $499,037!  Unfortunately for Tom “durrr” Dwan, he lost two of those, each to Full Tilt Red Pro Peter Jepsen.  Jepsen’s huge scores from that session were incredible, and more importantly he was now the holder of one of the most esteemed records in poker.

Well….that was until Friday afternoon.

Playing at famed F.T.P. high stakes poker table RailHeaven - which is where the aforementioned record pots had taken place at just days before - two of the biggest action junkies around the world got set to bash heads in what would be one of the sickest online poker pots ever recorded in history.  Trex313 aka Hac Hang (who had $297k+ behind) and Patatino (rumored to be uber-billionaire Guy Laliberte, had $307k behind) were involved in some deep-stacked action with fellow pro Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond (stack unknown at the time of the hand) on a flop of  T - 6 - 8 (2 diamonds).

Now after Galfond had fired out the first barrel, Patatino quickly raised the action to $35k total.  In position, Trex313 then re-raised to $88k!  OMG decided to just GTFO after it was clear that Trex and Patatino were the only ones with invites to this pot. When the decision was put back on Patatino after Galfond’d fold - it was pretty clear what his next move was going to be:  ALL-IN.

As everyone expected, Trex made the insane call with a straight flush draw - Jd 9d.  Patatino turned over an even crazier drawing hand - Qd 2d.  So with their draws and other live cards, both of these guys were basically racing for a total pot that had now been built up to a NEW online record-shattering $609,730!

The turn hit a 2 of hearts, pairing one of Patatino’s hole cards, and leaving Dac Hang hoping and praying for a river card that would steal away this enormous pot from his rival.

However, his hopes and prayers went unanswered as a 4 of clubs hit on 5th street, giving Patatino the new online world record for the biggest pot ever won!
