Cardrunners pros in the red?

A thread is brewing over at 2+2 that raises some interesting issues about the value of the online coaching sites that hundreds of users pour thousands of dollars into annually.
The original poster of the thread did a search of the main instructors of training site Cardrunners at Table Ratings.com, a website that tracks results of online cash games at a handful of sites including Full Tilt Poker, the ‘official home’ of Cardrunners. The results? Seven out of the nine primary instructors at Cardrunners have negative results.
There are, of course, several reasons why this might not be as bad as it seems - variance, incomplete tracking by the site, the fact that the site doesn’t track results from Omaha games - but it still offers an interesting glimpse into the future of online poker, a future where winrates of all players at major sites will likely be available to anyone, and where coaching sites will have to compete for users not just on the reputation of their pros, but on their verifiable results as well.
