Lee Jones Joins Cake Poker

Popular Stories
Lee Jones is making yet another move in the poker world.
The former PokerStars manager is joining Cake Poker in a yet-to-be announced role.
In 2008, Jones had joined CardRunners.com as the poker training site’s CEO, but he left the site in February. This marks Jones’ third affiliation with a different American-facing poker site in three years. He was with PokerStars from 2003-2007; CardRunners is affiliated with Full Tilt Poker.
While it’s unknown what Jones will do for Cake, his role will undoubtedly be an important one. One of the tasks that could be in Jones’ future is the growth of the site, as Cake trails PS, FTP and the CEREUS network among sites serving the U.S.
The addition of Jones also adds name-recognition and credibility to a site that has lacked in those departments in the past.
More on Jones role with Cake as details are released.
