Two Months, Two Million Debuts to Positive Reviews

The first episode in the reality show series ‘Two Months, Two Million (2M2MM)’ premiered last night on G4, and the reaction from the poker community at large seems to be pretty positive. The series, which follows four high stakes online poker players - Jay ‘Krantz’ Rosencrantz, Emil ‘Whitelime’ Patel, Brian ‘flawless_victory’ Roberts, and Dani ‘ansky’ Stern - as they attempt to make two million bucks in two months while living out of a Vegas mansion, is slated for a ten episode run.

So, how did the guys do? After the first week of their challenge, team 2M2MM was $35,700 in the black. A majority of the play coverage in the episode was given to Krantz’s struggles. Online poker fans will appreciate Episode 1 cameos from Tom “durrrr” Dwan and Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond.

The general consensus on 2+2 appears to be that the show straddles its two target audiences - the hardcore poker fan and the casual enthusiast - with reasonable skill.
