Durrrr Poker Challenge Update: Patrik Cuts Lead to Under Half a Million

Popular Stories
Remember the durrrr challenge? That thing you haven’t heard anything about for a few weeks? Maybe it’s been months, we’re not entirely sure. Tom Dwan has been pretty busy pulling down 600k pots vs Martonas and announcing his new Million Dollar Poker Challenge Live Play Thing, so he can be forgiven for not getting in many hands in recent weeks.
After last night’s results, Dwan is probably wishing he had continued to stay away.
He’s now got 392,347 reasons to regret sitting down for a session, as that’s the amount that Patrik took off the table after a two hour and change session that spanned just under 800 hands. Those hands brought the total in the challenge to 21,442 of 50,000 played. The match saw a handful of six-figure pots, with the largest being a 200k+ pot that went Dwan’s way courtesy of a flopped wrap turned backdoor flush.
Even with the win, Antonius still trails Dwan by a hair over 330k.
