Durrrr and Full Flush to Finally Meet Heads Up?

Popular Stories
Luke ‘__FullFlush1__’ Schwartz has generated some of the most entertaining smack talk in the pokerverse over the last year or so, much of it hurled in the direction of Tom ‘durrrr’ Dwan. Railbirds have been clamoring for a heads up match between the two for some time, and it seems like that wish - or at least a shot at it - may have been granted last week.
Unfortunately, the play won’t occur on the cash game tables, as most would prefer. Instead, the best chance for a FullFlush vs Durrrrr showdown in the immediate future seems to be at the PKR Heads-Up Grand Slam, an invitational tournament running in October 2009.
The draw for the tournament will occur on September 7th. The total field for heads up matches will be 32 players.
Committed names include: Tom “Durrrr” Dwan, Luke “Full Flush” Schwartz, Annette Obrestad, Yevgeniy Timoshenko, Vicky Coren, Nam Le, Sammy “Any Two” George, Roland de Wolfe, JC Tran, Andrew Feldman and Roberto Romanello. 6 slots will be filled by qualifiers at PKR.
Schwartz has made comments in the past indicating that he’d like to be next in line when Dwan finishes out the current installment of the ‘durrrr challenge’ online: “I’m waiting to do the durrrr challenge, but he’s still messing around with Patrik. I played 10 or 20 sessions with this guy on Full Tilt and we did 25,000 hands, so it doesn’t take much to do 50,000, but they’re taking ages. Probably drawing it out for publicity, or durrrr could be struggling for money. He’s like four million down for the year I reckon.”
Dwan’s response in a thread over at 2+2: “I call.”
However, with the first episode of that match only half way done after several months, and Dwan also having a live version of the durrrr challenge kicking off soon, it seems like Schwartz and railbirds alike will have to hope for a draw that puts the two on a collision course at the PKR tournament if we’re to see the two knock heads any time soon.
